Why We Paint Here
Our studio sits on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, where the landscape itself is our primary teacher. We're not creating from imagination or photographs—we're painting what we observe, what we feel, what changes daily with the weather and seasons.
This location matters. The quality of light here is unique. The colour relationships in the water, the way mist rolls across cliffs, the texture of stone worn by centuries of waves—these become part of our visual vocabulary.
Our Collections
Oil Paintings
Large-scale landscapes on canvas, working with layered glazes and rich pigments. Each piece takes weeks to develop from underpainting to final details. We work in classical techniques with contemporary sensibility.
Atlantic Watercolours
A series of studies and finished works capturing the moods of our coastline. Watercolour's transparency and flow make it ideal for rendering light on water and atmospheric effects.
